Israel catches Hamas trying to hold J'lem press conference

Hamas tried to pull a fast one on Wednesday, quickly setting up a press conference in Jerusalem where Muslim and Bible-illiterate Christian leaders were to publicly condemn Israel over its renovation work at the Temple Mount.
But the Israel Police found out about the terror group's scheme in time, and arrived at the venue - the Commodore Hotel in eastern Jerusalem - in time to make sure the event did not take place, at least not in the Israeli capital.
Activities by or on behalf of Hamas and other "Palestinian" terror groups are banned within sovereign Israel.
The entire Palestinian Authority, including "moderate" PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas, has been working to blow up Israel's relatively minor renovation work on a collapsed earthen ramp leading to the Temple Mount's Mugrabi Gate.
Despite the fact that the ramp is outside the Temple Mount walls, Muslim leaders claim Israel is really trying to undermine the foundations of the mosques that occupy the holy hill.
